Fitting FatMaxx

“Pack what you want…and then take half of it out”. Even working off of this wise advice our trunk was definitely a tell tale traveling bag today for three girls preparing for a multitude of weather conditions.
Though after several cycles of packing, unpacking, repacking, smooshing, and reorganizing, everything fit into the car pretty magically. Almost a little too magically.

Shoes? Check.
Sweaters? Check.
Shorts? Yes.
Sleeping bags, pillows, blankets? Check, check, and check.
Back up sweaters? Double check.
Bag of scarves? A must.

Fat Maxx? (ahem) ”:......did anyone pack the Fat Maxx?” (Still plugged in as we tried to squeeze in the, ahem, recommend forty hour charging time).

As wonderful as this handy gift is, like its name suggests, it’s a little larger in size. Which simply requires a little more space in the trunk….and for Sarah to take a fewer number of scarves. After a little rearranging though, we were ready to say goodbye. Well, maybe not ready exactly….but it became time to say goodbye.

Setting out on the road for the first part of our little adventure, goal number one was to leave our home town. But first we needed to say goodbye to a few important people. And we were gifted with some absolutely delicious cold Dr. Peppers on the way. (Note: Treehouse Trails is a shameless and enthusiastic supporter of “The Doctor”. Our exuberant love is extended even more when it happens to be hot outside and the soda is cold).

Indiana said its own goodbye to us with the mix of sunshine rain and humid weather. But with the windows rolled down, the radio turned up, and three cans of cold Dr. Pepper, we couldn’t have been more excited to greet our first state: Michigan.

All else aside, let it be known: we have a full tank of gas, a spare tire, and the FatMaxx.

Keep your seatbelts on because the journey has just begun.

Love, The  Crew

P.S. Fun Thought of the Day from Stephen the AT&T guy: Do you take the blue pill and continue to stay in the Matrix? Or do you take the red pill and break the illusion?

P.P.S. Jennifer now has her 812 on. AKA Has digits. AKA the AKA She has her first cell phone.

P.P.P.S. Sarah and Jeanette will not give the number out to anyone :)
