It was the perfect January day, which in Arkansas really is quite nice. So we decided to spend the day hiking around in Devil's Den State Park!
Once we officially had entered the park, we found ourselves going down a seriously curvy and steep road. For the record though, it was fun to drive! And we eventually stumbled upon the visitors center.
Where we meet this sweet lady. She gave us great recommendations of trails to take for the day!

With it being winter and all, there weren't hardly any leaves on the trees. But the view from this overlook was still oh, so beautiful!
Devil's Den State Park is known for their caves. Unfortunately, when we were there the caves were closed do to the White Nose Syndrome that was found among their bats. This was also the place where we heard one little girl tell the other little girl next to her that this was the place where the devil lives. Well, we don't know about that but it did look a little ominous.
There were also beautiful waterfalls throughout the park.

We're sure we do not know how, but it's already time to say goodbye to our sweet sister Stephanie. She must get back to The Allison House. We're sad to see her go, but we're grateful she was able to join us for a few states!
