Cubs and Fireworks

This is a picture of a white baby cub in its natural habitat.

This next picture is akin to that of a cub's reaction as it experiences its first time in the big desert among a whole lot of other animals, some kinds of which the young cub has never encountered.

For home-schooled, boondocks-raised, Jennifer, Cincinnati, Ohio was quite the big city. Her reaction looked strangely similar to that of the cub near the middle.

Sarah's reponse? "Oh sweetie...just wait till we get to New York..."

...By the Beautiful River...

Among the crowd of a million-ish people from all walks of life and music at Ohio’s Riverfest we got some beautiful pictures with the bridge and the river in the background.

"Because it is another day that the Lord has given me to rejoice and be glad in."

The theme for this year's festivities was "80's", complete with Ghostbusters, the Delorean, and 'Back to the Fireworks' t-shirts.

Close to the end of the line for a street vendor, we were lucky enough to order the last of the brats....along of course with a side order of deep fried sauerkraut.

Hues of pinks and blues played across the open sky, in and out of clouds, giving us an absolutely majestic view as we waited for the firework show to begin.

Nine o' five on the dot and the sky was lit up with illuminative colors that leapt about the massive blackness above us.

The fireworks were set to familiar hit 80's tracks that made way for the occasional karaoke!

The experience couldn't have ended more mystically as we left our last night in Ohio with the sky ablaze with sparkling beauty and the speakers filled with "We can't be stopped" and "Eye of the Tiger".

Thanks a million to our Ohio family who were so kind as to welcome us into their home, help us discover places to explore, and feed us incredible food and Dr. Pepper! :)
They were angels for letting us stay with them---and even went the extra mile to feed us some amazing meals! It was great to spend a few days in their company---thank you so much Bruce & Rita! :)

"To see my husband's face and hear my daughter's voice (only because she's not here to see her face!)."

"Because my life is full of things to do."

Things to do. Places to go. People to see. Life to live.
Life to love.

Love from the great country of America,
The Crew
