We've found our destiny---in upstate New York's Destiny USA mall, complete with it's own climbing playground and hanging flower sculpture. And as usual, anyplace there are people is the perfect place to ask our question! :)
"Because I have to."
"I have a very optimistic outlook on life. It's a great way to look on things---there's always something new to learn every day."
We found our way to Seneca lake in Geneva and spotted this adorable little creature.
And even though it's the wrong species, for those O' Brother Where Art Thou fans---"Gofer, Everett?"
"Because I'm done sleeping."
"To enjoy life!"
As we stopped to talk with this gentleman we asked him if he would like to be a part of our question.
He replied back with a "Sure, why not?" But before we could ask him, he says, "The answer is 4."
And so when he wrote in our book, he spelled his answer like this:
"4 coffee and breakfast!"
"To see my husband and beautiful daughter."
"For my kids. Safe Travels!"
One evening of a majestic sunset....dozens of pictures...and a view almost straight out of The Little Mermaid.
"Every day brings a new beauty in itself."
"Boundless chances to discover oneself."
The view was more breathtaking than we could have imagined. None of these pictures have been enhanced or changed in any way, shape, or form. It is all raw, awe-inspiring beauty straight from New York.
Starstruck by the beauty of the outlook, we forgot to eat dinner. So by the time that the sun set, most of us were pretty hungry. So we stopped into a hot dog joint in the area that served their dogs with New York famous Texas Hots.
"Because the sun makes me smile and usually I have to pee. :) "
Thanks to our marvelous New York State hostess for wandering around with us, showing us your beautiful home, and for frozen hot chocolate! :)
"On any given morning it's the little things---letting the dog out, getting ready for work, visits to or from family & friends. What keeps me going is knowing that somewhere there is a reason why I am where I am and what I am doing and I have always and will always continue to search for answers as they change though out my life. There is no better feeling than when you find it and know you are home and where you are supposed to be."
As we got ready to journey to our next state we met our hostess's neighbors.
"So I can enjoy realizing that I'm retired."
"Thankful and grateful for each day to spend with my family and friends."
"This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."
And we were glad for every moment of our New York adventure and the amazing people we have been able to meet!
Blessings from our travels,
The Crew
