This is Jeanette’s beach face. She was ecstatic that we were
able to find a beach in Ohio---courtesy of Hueston Woods Park.
Beaches are the stuff of happiness. <3

"Because life is worth it."
"Jesus gave me another day! Live it up :)"
---I'm only as strong as the coffee I drink and the hairspray I use---
While packing up the car for the very first time before we left home, we closed the trunk and noticed a strange hissing noise. We were very scared that it might be a leak or some other serious car-related issue that would have prevented us from leaving. So very quickly we popped the trunk back open and searched rapidly for where the noise was coming from. After taking out several bags and shoes we uncovered the tragic culprit.
An uncapped bottle of TreSemme hairspray.
A few days later as we were packing our trunk to leave Ohio....the hissing started once more.
Naively, we had conveniently forgotten about the last time we had heard this ominous sound. So once more we popped the lid of the trunk and tried to get down to the bottom of it. Seconds later Sarah exclaims, "The Hairspray!" and Jeanette lifts up her jacket, once more revealing the bottle of hairspray. Needless to say, the hairspray bottle had been emptied practically to the very last drop.
The jacket? Nicely stiffened and smelled like the back room of a county fair queen pageant.
So while we are now hairspray-less, we will no longer be haunted by the sound of the hissing black can of beauty.
That leg of our journey told, it's time to meet the Best Buy team and their reason for waking up. :)
"To come to work."
"I am promised another day to do something amazing."
"I get up in the morning for my 15 month old daughter Julie."
"To get my college degree."
"To help support my family."
"To chase my dreams."
"To make my grandmother proud."
Downtown Hamilton was also a very beautiful place, riddled with historical statues and stories.
So glad the water level wasn't this high as it was 101 years ago...our swimsuits were still packed away in the car...
